Additional information for delegates
This seminar is designed for anyone who has a key responsibility for BCM, including chief executives, directors, non-executive directors, risk leads and those developing business continuity plans or anyone participating in business continuity planning projects. Due to capacity constraints, each organisation will be limited to 3 spaces each. A reserve list will be maintained if you wish to bid for additional places. A Certificate of Attendance will be issued to all delegates.
Background information
Experience from the Bishopsgate and Manchester bombs and the recent fuel crisis have shown that organisations that have business continuity arrangements in place are more likely to stay in business and recover quickly in the event of an emergency than those that do not. Establishing a source of BCM advice and assistance prior to an emergency occurring will raise business continuity awareness in the community, and help organisations to help themselves in case of an incident . There are real business benefits to be gained from the implementation of BCM within any organisation. For example: Regulatory requirements, Positive marketing of contingency capabilities, Competitive advantage and Insurance .Available documents
